Drawing Happens

A few months ago I stocked up on art supplies and began learning how to draw. It was something I wanted to be able to do for a long long time, but it seemed totally out of my reach. I don’t exactly know what happened, but somehow I got addicted to drawing, or learning how to draw, or both. Whatever the case may be, I’ve been practicing a lot and decided that I want to post some of my drawings and sketches to this blog. Not because they are necessarily any good, but to catalog and record my progress, and to be able to share them with whoever might be interested. So, I’ll be posting some of my drawings in the coming days, weeks, and, hopefully, months and years. I hope that you will find, at least some of them, entertaining.

Oh, and the turtle? This turtle is what started it all. I had to make a simple animation of a turtle for a tiny game I was working on. I sketched this turtle on a post-it note and said, “I have got to learn to do better than this.”
